Allen has been a retirement specialist since 1986. Prior to 2001, Allen was an assistant Vice President of Heritage Federal Bank in Laurens, SC with over 28 years of service. He is a 1973 graduate of Lander University with a degree in business administration. He and his wife Linda live in Greenwood. They have a daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren and are active members of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.
Melony's career began in the nuclear power industry. Earning both a BS in Mathematics from Lander University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, Melony went to work for Duke Power's Oconee Nuclear Station as a Mechanical Systems Engineer over nuclear safety systems. Later she joined her husband in the operation of Young's Concrete (25+ years) and Young's Properties (10+ years) in business. Joining the team at Retirement Solutions of Greenwood has helped broaden her opportunities in the market arena, as well as, help others to achieve financial independence through education, products, and services.
